Welcome to Kunming, the City of Eternal Spring! When you arrive, your experienced guide and driver will pick you up from the airport or the railway station, holding a welcome board with your name on it. Then, you will be transferred to a well-chosen hotel to check in. Later, your 11 days Yunnan tour will officially begin with a visit to the beautiful Green Lake Park, a favorite place for the locals to relax.

After breakfast, we will drive for 1.5 hours to the Stone Forest, where the mysterious natural variation of limestones will surely leave you a deep impression. You can see different shapes of stones as moving to different areas. If you are interested, you can dress in the ethnic minority costume to take some memorable photos.

After lunch, we will drive to Jianshui, a charming town of old buildings. It takes about 2 hours on the way. Upon arrival, your guide will help you check into the hotel. The remaining time of the day will be left for you to relax or explore.

Today's itinerary will start with a visit to the Zhu's Family Garden, which is a typical dwelling of the Ming Dynasty (1368-1644) in Southern Yunnan. After that, we will head to the Jianshui Confucius Temple, which was built in memory of Confucius. This Kunming to Jianshui trip will end after lunch, and then you will be driven for around 3 hours to Yuanyang for a two-night stay.

This morning, you need to get up a little bit earlier as we will head to the Duoyishu Rice Terraces to see the sunrise. It is an amazing place to watch the sunrise, and if lucky, you could also get a glimpse of the sea of clouds. Then, explore the Qingkou Hani Ethnic Village to learn about the Hani folk culture and appreciate the local mushroom houses.

In the afternoon, we will proceed to the primitive Azheke Hani Ethnic Village to enjoy the beautiful views of the rice terraces and experience the life of the local Hani people.

Accompanied by your guide, you will spend a leisure morning wandering in the Hani Farmers Market. It will be a good chance for you to explore further of the Hani people's lifestyle and learn more about their folk culture. Interact with the locals, your guide will act as a translator.

After lunch, we will transfer back to Kunming and the ride takes about 6 hours. Do not miss to appreciate the beautiful rural sceneries along the way, which will bring you some enjoyment and fun during the long journey.

After breakfast at the hotel, you will be transferred to the railway station to catch a 2-hour bullet train to Dali, the next destination of your 11 days Yunnan tour. When you arrive, your Dali local guide and driver will meet you at the exit of the Railway Station.

You will be guided to visit the Dali Ancient City, where many Bai ethnic minority folk houses are well preserved. Then, visit the Three Pagodas Temple, which is east to the Erhai Lake and west by the Mt. Cangshan. The three pagodas are clearly reflected in the lake, which will bring you a different visual experience. After that, you will have a leisurely walk along the ecological corridor of the Erhai Lake for sightseeing. Alternatively, you could also take a cycling tour from the ancient city to the Erhai Lake under the company of your guide. The rental fee will be on your own.

In the morning, you will be escorted to take a 3-4 hours' car ride to Lijiang. Along the way, we will pass by the Xizhou Ancient Town, which is well-known for the folk houses of the Bai minority. Your guide will take you to visit the most typical folk house there - the Yan's Compound, which will offer you a good opportunity to witness the special architecture style of the Bai dwellings as well as the precious ethnic culture and art of the Bai minority. Later, we will make a stop at Zhoucheng, where you can try Tie-Dyeing, a traditional skill to color cloths or make patterns on cloths.

Upon your arrival in Lijiang, your local guide will greet you warmly and then escort you to visit the Lijiang Old Town, once an important hub along the Ancient Tea Horse Road. You will stay in Lijiang for two nights.

Today, your 11 days Yunnan tour will continue to the Baisha Village, one of the earliest settlements of the Naxi people. The Baisha murals is a highlight that cannot be missed when visiting here. Around noon, a home-cooked lunch at a Naxi people's home will be arranged. If interested, you can learn to cook several local dishes from the host.

In the afternoon, we will head to the Former Residence of Joseph Rock, an excellent explorer who unveiled Lijiang to the western world. Next stop will be the Black Dragon Pool, a beautiful site to see the reflection of the Jade Dragon Snow Mountain. Finally, we will come to the Dongba Culture Museum, where you may definitely be amazed by the exhibitions of the local Naxi people's dwellings, clothes, etc.

Today, we will drive to Shangri-la, which takes around 4-5 hours on the way. En route, we will first pass by the First Bend of the Yangtze River, where the river suddenly turns to the northeast from the northwest, forming a v-shaped bend. Then, have a stop at the Stone Drum Town, where you can see many historical sites and relics. The last stop will be the magnificent Tiger Leaping Gorge, whose roaring waves may shock you a lot. After the visit, we will continue to head for Shangri-La and stay there for two nights.

The first stop of your 11 days Yunnan tour in Shangri-La will be the Songzanlin Monastery, the largest Tibetan Buddhist monastery in Yunnan. After lunch, you will have an exploration of the Potatso National Park. There, a boat tour on the Shudu Lake will be arranged for you to closely touch this plateau lake and enjoy the picturesque scenery. Then, approach the Militang Pasture, where you will see yaks dotted on the vast green land. Finally, a visit to a Tibetan family will be arranged and it will definitely leave you a deep impression on the Tibetans' daily life.

This morning, you will be guided to visit the Dukezong Ancient Town, a Tibetan town with over 1,300-year-old history. After that, your guide will see you off at the airport for your onward flight, and your 11 days Yunnan tour will end here.
