9:00 Drive 1h to Visit the Terracotta Army Museum
Your sightseeing tour today will start from visiting the world-renowned Terracotta Army Museum. It was founded in the Qin Dynasty (221-206 B.C.), the first unified dynasty of Imperial China. As "the eighth wonder of the world", it is a symbol of the splendid civilization of ancient China. Following your guide, you will visit the three excavated pits one by one. The 2 to 3 hours exploration will give you a full understanding of this significant site.

13:00 Free Time for Lunch
Lunch today is by your own arrangement. There are many restaurants outside of the museum, including both Chinese food and Western fast food. Your tour guide will offer some advice based on your preferences and usually a simple meal cost $5 to $7 per person.
13:40 Drive to Visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda
After lunch, we drive back to downtown Xi’an and visit the Small Wild Goose Pagoda. Located in bustling city area but away from the noise, it is a major historical and cultural site from the Tang Dynasty (618 AD -907 AD), as well as a lovely place to take photos of the ancient architecture and enjoy pleasant scenery. One can always find inner peace here.
Friendly Tip: The Small Wild Goose Pagoda is usually not open on Tuesdays. If you happen to meet the date, we will arrange a visit to the Site Museum of Xi'an Tang City Wall instead.
16:00 Visit the City Wall
Thereafter we will visit the ancient City Wall of Xi'an to learn about its centuries-old history. If the weather is good, riding a bike or taking sightseeing car for one circle on the wall is a wonderful experience. If you are interested, your guide could help you with it. The fare, about CNY45/US$6 per bicycle, is to be paid by yourself.
17:30 Drop Off at Muslim Bazaar or Hotel
Here comes to the end of your day trip. You could choose to be dropped off at the Muslim Bazaar, a very popular food street in the center of Xi'an, or directly transferred back to the hotel. For those who would like to explore the bazaar at night, please get back to the hotel by taxi.
