According to Beijing Municipal Public Security Bureau, during the 2008 Beijing Olympics, the Police Hotline 110 will offer service in foreign languages, including English, Japanese and Korean.

At present, the hotline operation center can provide service in basic English. Meanwhile, volunteers accomplished in foreign languages are selected to assist the police to answer the hotline.

It is reported that the 13th Temple Fair of the Grand View Garden is scheduled from February 7 to 11, 2008. The temple fair of this year will be characterized by the 2008 Beijing Olympics, displaying the fascination of Chinese traditional culture and the new scene of Beijing.

According to Chongwen District, the 25th Temple Fair of the Longtan Park will be held from February 6 to 13, 2008.

During the festival, visitors to the park can participate in about twenty-eight activities for free, including shooting, archery and rowing. There will be professional coach offering service for each participant.

It is reported that the locations of six stops of the Beijing Olympic bus lines have been determined.

The six bus stops include the Beijing Hotel, Olympic Center, Olympic Green and the Capital International Airport. Around 9,491 public buses and 17,000 drivers will serve for the coming 2008 Olympics and the Paralympic Games.

The construction of the Beijing Olympic electrically-operated bus stop has been started on January 9, 2008, and is expected to be finished in this April.

During the Beijing Olympic Games, about 50 electrically operated buses will be in operation in the Olympic Village day and night. In view of this, a large bus stop with a battery charging station will be built near the Xiongmao Huandao (熊猫环岛). By then, the stop will supply power and repair services for the electrically-operated buses.
